Founded out of a deep love for the Siberian Forest Cat breed and a desire to raise kittens that embody our ideal—beautiful, healthy, lively, spirited, yet wild—we established this small cattery dedicated to breeding the iconic "Gas Can" Siberians.

You can call me Zhouzhou. Although I'm just starting out in breeding, I've been continuously studying feline behavior, feline medicine, and breeding-related courses since my time as a cat parent at Xisen Pets. I'm committed to never stopping my learning journey. My current qualifications and completed courses include: Deng Jun's Beginner Clicker Training Course, Campus Felinarium Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, and The Pleiades.

Our cattery is based in Beijing and registered with WCF. For the first few years, we aim to operate as a "hobby breeder" with a small but focused scale to build a solid foundation for breeding. This approach allows me to dedicate my full attention to personally caring for every kitten, ensuring thorough socialization and providing each cat—whether young or adult—that joins FW with abundant love.

About the Competition

Verify breeding results and share breeding expertise

When conditions allow, we actively participate in official shows hosted by major world cat associations. This not only helps us evaluate our breeding direction and results but also fosters friendly exchanges with expert judges and fellow breeders. Additionally, these events provide valuable socialization and environmental enrichment for our kittens.

Breeding Philosophy

While adhering closely to the WCF breed standard, I particularly value a sturdy body and limbs, a lush coat that is full but not overly fluffy or soft; a rounded, well-rounded forehead and skull, with ears of appropriate size and spacing; a rounded, compact muzzle and strong chin. My favorite expression is alert and lively, with a touch of wildness reminiscent of the Siberian tundra.

We currently breed only traditional color Cheetoh cats. Our breeding program focuses on the following colors: brown, red-brown tortoiseshell, blue, and blue-cream tortoiseshell. Gold offspring may also appear, along with their white-biased (tuxedo) variations.

Health

Health and ethical breeding are the foundation. We carefully select and pair our breeding cats to minimize inbreeding coefficients and avoid bloodlines with known health issues, such as FIP and HCM. While FIP is not entirely linked to lineage, we take this precaution seriously. All breeding cats and kittens come with documented health data and guarantees.

Personality

One of the most charming traits of the Siberian Forest Cat is their personality. Curious and often called "dogs in cat suits," they are smart and attentive companions who follow their owners around. They enjoy chatty trills, frequently jump onto your lap for pets, and respond with incredibly loud purrs—always ready to shower you with affection.

My goal is for every kitten I breed to bring the warmth and love of a Snow Spirit to its human family. Each kitten should harmoniously bond with all members of the household, balancing calmness with playfulness, and intelligence with understanding.

Social

In addition to genetics, a kitten's temperament and confidence are shaped by positive socialization. We maximize every moment of this critical window with science-based training in handling, nail trimming, grooming, bathing, blow-drying, and acclimating to outdoor environments.

However, the end of the socialization window doesn't mean socialization is over. In fact, cats continue to socialize throughout their lives. We encourage owners to support their kitten's socialization journey after bringing them home.

Cattery Environment

180 sq ft + space, four separate rooms; no cage confinement

We do not support cage confinement for cats (except in special cases such as illness, post-surgery recovery requiring restricted movement and isolation). Our cattery spans over 180 square meters and features four private rooms plus several shared activity areas. The breeding cats, our resident pets, and I all share the same living space. Every cat enjoys ample floor space, plenty of climbing opportunities, and a richly enriched environment.

For highly extroverted cats with an adventurous spirit, daily outdoor walks are arranged (not recommended for first-time owners). Male cats and nursing females have their own separate living spaces, while other female cats live with the resident cats.

Daily Feeding

Diet consists primarily of raw meat and bone with homemade cooked meals, supplemented by premium imported canned food, freeze-dried treats, and a small amount of dry kibble. Kittens accustomed to raw and homemade diets from an early age may initially refuse dry food. To ensure a smoother transition when they move to their new homes, we gradually introduce some dry kibble after the weaning period. However, we strongly encourage new owners to provide at least 50% wet food in their diet to minimize the risk of urinary and bladder issues caused by insufficient water intake.

Meat Source

Most meat sources meet the raw food (BARF) standard and are served raw; those that do not are cooked.
